About ABCM and the Cardiology Exams

The American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine’s mission is to provide evidence-based Board Certification Opportunities for Cardiovascular professionals working in Medical, Nursing, and Technical arenas.  We have formed a liaison with the Marriott Heart Foundation, “Home of the American College of Cardiovascular Nurses, and the Society of Cardiac Monitoring,” to develop targeted Prep Courses in Cardiology for the benefit of those in need of Review Courses prior to sitting for their Board Exams. 

The ABCM Provides Board Certification Exams and Awards for the following Cardiac Professionals employed in Sub-Specialty roles with-in the field of Cardiology.

4.  Cardiac Nurses in Acute Care - Learn More

7.  Cardiac Monitor Technicians - Learn More
8.  Emergency Physician's EKG Exam - Learn More

To assist our clients with preparation for the various exams, the ABCM provides targeted program plans for staff development departments.   To assist in self or group study, the ABCM publishes preparation materials for most of its Board Certification Exams, and they make recommendations of outside resources to assist with preparation.
