Provide cardiovascular medicine accreditation and certification awards to qualified facilities and board eligible candidates,  designed to validate a high standard of patient care in various sub-specialty areas within cardiology, for:  Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Technicians, and First Responders who are responsible for the diagnosis and ongoing management of patients with variety of cardiovascular diseases
and anomalies. 
 

The American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine (ABCM) provides Board Certification Opportunities to Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and First Responders in various Subspecialty Categories in Cardiology.   Wear the mark of distinction, "SURSUM CORDA," only available from the ABCM, and demonstrate your commitment to Excellence in Cardiovascular Professional Practice.

SUBSPECIALTY BOARD CERTIFICATION EXAMINATIONS AVAILABLE:

  • CVRN - Level I Adult and Pediatric Cardiovascular Nursing for Telemetry, Progressive Care

  • CVRN - Level II Adult & Pediatric Cardiovascular Nursing for CCU, CVICU

  • CVRN - Level III Adult and Pediatric Cardiovascular Nursing for Interventional Staff

  • CVNP - Level IV Adult and Pediatric Cardiovascular Nursing for Nurse Practitioners

  • ECG-C Level IA and B - Basic Electrocardiography;
    Adult and Pediatric for Telemetry, Progressive Care, Med-Surg, Monitor & ECG Technicians

  • ECG-C: Level II, 12-Lead Electrocardiography;
    Adult and Pediatric for Physicians, CCU, CVICU, Cath Lab Staff Nurses, ECG Technicians, & First Responders

  • ECG-C and CEC: Level III, Three levels for Emergency Personnel; 1) Emergency ECG, 2) ACLS, and 3) the Identification and Management of Cardiac Emergencies (Adult and Pediatric). Designed for a host of Emergency personnel from First Responder to Nurse, to Physician.  Take one, two or three sections depending upon your needs and professional goals.
